Walk in prepared.
Then crush it.
“STEM education is the leveler for all to be successful in the future needs of humanity.”

We have found the following tips to be very effective if your student has learning differences and/or accommodations:
- Our online LearnDash videos may be very helpful for reviewing materials.
- Check in routinely with your student to ensure homework completion.
- Encourage them to ask questions in class.
- Add the 2-hour individual tutoring package during Small Group SAT registration, so they can get extra support during the program.
- Encourage note taking in class (we will as well).
- Ensure they take the midterm/final in person & that extra time is documented when registering.
- During weeks 5-8, homework is full length tests at home. If your student wants to take math and reading on two separate days, please reach out to their tutor(s).
- Tutors are aware and will be cognizant of learning differences in class, and will adjust instruction or guidance as needed.
- Ensure they are well rested or have taken medication as needed.
Note:
If your student has testing accommodations (IEP, ADA) of extended time, then you will enter this information during the registration process. While we are able to accommodate additional time, we are unable to accommodate the following: braille, large print text, screen reading technology, or scribes (oral dictation) at this time.
