How successful is this course?

Very!

We have conducted this course for several years. All students have achieved a minimum of a “4” on the AP Calculus AB exam, with over 90% achieving a “5.”

For many universities, a score of “3” or higher typically counts as college credit. For more selective schools and/or to advance to higher math, a “4” or more may be required.

Compare for yourself.

Plus, past and current Small Group SAT Test Prep students save an additional $400 when they pre-pay for the year ($5,192 – $400 = $4,792)!

Frequently asked questions

My student has a super heavy course load. Do you assign homework for this program?

Most students taking AP Calculus AB have rigorous course loads, and it’s for this very reason that we do NOT assign homework for this program. We meet for two hours on Sunday, then students may attend open office hours when they need help with assignments/ quizzes/tests or anything we’ve reviewed in class.

My daughter is planning on studying electrical engineering in college. Does she need this course?

AP Calculus AB is a challenging, college-level courses. By taking our Parallel course, your daughter will be mastering the fundamental concepts of calculus that create the bedrock for upper level math. This will position her nicely for further mathematical study going forward.

Our son is taking Pre-Calculus in the fall. Can he take the AP Calculus AB Parallel course to get ahead for next year?

No, it’s really not a good idea. Even for precocious math students, Pre-Calculus is challenging due to its abstract nature. In addition, all of the students in our AP Calculus AB Parallel class will already have had a full year of Pre-Calculus under their belts.

I’d like to speak with a parent whose student has taken this course. Can you provide me with a couple of references?

Of course! Just contact us via our Contact Page here, and we’ll get you connected.
