Strengthen the foundation.
“My daughter was convinced that she was bad in math. After working with Loudoun Test Prep, I’m happy to say she no longer feels that way!”
– Stephanie S, parent
Get the fundamentals down cold.
Confidence in mathematics is built on strong foundations. We’ve developed a preparatory class to reinforce those foundations and get students on solid footing before they begin one of our small group or individual SAT sessions. This class is also for students who are not taking our small group or individual SAT sessions, but who feel they lost ground in math during the tumult of the Covid-19 school years.
As always, we like our classes small. Class size is limited to eight (8) students. This gives us the opportunity to determine precisely where the holes are in your student’s math foundations. With this knowledge, we are able to address potentially years of ‘broken’ math and plug those holes.
Plus, any student who takes our SAT Math Bootcamp course, will receive 10% off when they register for our Small Group SAT Test Prep or Individual SAT Test Prep courses!
More and more students nationwide suffer from math gaps.
A report released last week by the University of California San Diego, which has about 45,000 students and is one of America’s highest-ranked public universities, said that the number of entering first-year students whose math skills fall below middle-school level “increased nearly thirtyfold” from 2020 to 2025—to roughly one out of every eight new students. Frequently asked questions
Is it too late? My daughter scored 410 on the math portion of the PSAT and she thinks she can’t do math.
Absolutely not. We work with students with a wide range of math competency. The one thing all of our students have in common, however, is that they ALL have improved their scores after working with Loudoun Test Prep. Oftentimes, the original teaching methods used in delivering these fundamental math concepts haven’t resonated with the student. We make them resonate.
My son scored 540 on the math portion of his first SAT. Should he enroll in SAT Math Bootcamp?
The short answer is no, it is not. This course is designed ONLY for students who scored 500 or lower on the math portion of their PSAT or SAT.
I have an 8th grader who wants to jump start the SAT prep process. Is SAT Math Bootcamp the right class for her?
It’s great that she is willing to start the process early, but SAT Math Bootcamp is not the class for your student. She may want to consider Academic Individual Tutoring that we gear toward pre-SAT prep.
