AP PRECALCULUS PARALLEL CLASSES

Our AP Precalculus Parallel classes are designed specifically for students taking AP Precalculus beginning in the fall of each school year. Taught by expert math tutors, each class will cover the material taught in school that week. The course also includes test preparation for the May Precalc AP exam. Class size is limited to 8 students.

Who should take this course?

This course is for students who:

plan on studying math, economics, physics, or engineering in college and want a strong springboard to their AP Calculus AB and BC courses in subsequent years
desire a grade of A in the course
are concerned about the rigor of the course and want additional instruction and guidance along the way

During the registration process, you will see a pre-pay option. By paying for the eight months of classes in advance, you will save $50/month or $449 total.

My daughter is considering a STEM career. Does she need this course?

AP Precalculus is a challenging course that will help your daughter determine if a math-based career path is for her (e.g. economics, math, physics, or engineering). By taking our Parallel course, your daughter will be mastering the fundamental concepts that she will need to tackle AP Calculus AB and BC in subsequent years.

Our son is taking Honors Algebra 2 in the fall. Can he take the AP Precalculus Parallel course to get ahead for next year?

No, we do not recommend it. Even for precocious math students, Pre-Calculus is challenging due to its abstract nature. We would prefer that your son submerges himself in mastering the concepts in Honors Algebra 2, then join us the following year when he is enrolled in AP Precalculus.

Our AP Precalculus “Parallel” classes are designed specifically for students taking AP Precalculus in the 2023-2024 school year. Each class will cover the material covered in school that week, but includes the flexibility to adjust as needed. Test preparation for the May 2024, Precalc AP exam is also covered.

Prepay discount is $449/month, total of $3592. Payment due at the time of registration.

Class Schedule

The first class is Sunday, September 10th, 2023 from 4pm - 6pm and will continue each Sunday until the May Precalc AP exam, for a total of 8 months.
