Frequently asked questions
My daughter is planning on studying electrical engineering in college. Does she need this course?
AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC and are challenging, college-level courses. By taking our Parallel course(s), your daughter will be mastering the fundamental concepts of calculus that create the bedrock for upper level math. This will position her nicely for further mathematical study going forward.
Our son is taking Pre-Calculus in the fall. Can he take the AP Calculus AB Parallel course to get ahead for next year?
No, it’s really not a good idea. Even for precocious math students, Pre-Calculus is challenging due to its abstract nature. In addition, all of the students in our AP Calculus AB Parallel class will already have had a full year of Pre-Calculus under their belts.
