Our expectations to meet your expectations.

We need your help to make your student successful.
From homework to class participation and from communication to arriving on time for class, your understanding of our expectations will help us meet your expectations.

Program Expectations & Commitment
The LTP program is an intensive eight-week course designed to prepare students for the SAT. To maximize the benefit of the program, students are expected to be actively engaged (ask questions!) and focused in each class (no texting during class). We also expect students to complete their assignments/homework on time and attend all classes on time. Lastly, students need a calculator for all math sessions and practice tests.

Homework
Roughly 3-4 hours of homework will be assigned each week. We strongly encourage students to spread out the homework to 30-45 minutes a night rather than cramming the day before class.

Practice Tests
We will proctor full-length SAT tests (~3.5 hours each) through the duration of the course. If your student is unable to take any of these tests, please let us know and we can make alternative arrangements. These tests are scheduled after Week #4 and #7 of the course and reviewed in class in Week #5 and #8 respectively. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure the tests are done on time for Week #5 and #8 classes.
The goal of these tests is to help each student practice learned techniques and with familiarize themselves with real-time test conditions (duration, anxiety, format, etc.). These are not meant to measure incremental progress/score increases through the program.

Communication
Please provide contact information (e-mail and cell phone) for you and your student. If there are any last minute cancellations/adjustments in schedule, we’ll need to contact you both immediately.

July Class Participants
For July participants, we will run formal online makeup classes every week during the summer. All makeups will be conducted online.
