Small Group Math Pods
Our Math Pods are organized by math subject and in some cases, the school the students are attending. We offer Math Pods for students enrolled in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, and AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC. We also offer an Algebra II Math Pod for students who are currently enrolled in Geometry, but who want to get a jump start on Algebra II for the following year. Taught by Loudoun Test Prep math specialist tutors, each class will roughly attempt to mirror the material taught in locals schools during each month. Class size is 4 – 6 students.
In-Person Math Pods
All courses are taught IN-PERSON. Our experience has taught us that online or hybrid small group math courses produce lower quality results for our students. In-person teaching with a low teacher-to-student ratio allows us to conduct bi-directional learning with plenty of time for questions and answers as opposed to “lecturing” to our students. We are in the business of helping each student reach his or her full mathematical potential, so sub-optimal course structure is not part of our program.
Who should enroll in a Math Pod?
These courses are for students who:
- want to ensure mastery of the subject material
- desire a grade of A in the course
- are concerned about the rigor of the course and want additional instruction and guidance along the way
Is there a discount if I pay for the year in advance?
Yes!
The first step is to complete the Math Pod Intake Form below. After we create a pod specific to your needs, you will see a pre-pay option during the registration process. By paying for the eight months of classes in advance, you will save $50/month or $449 total.

My daughter is planning on a career in a STEM field, should she enroll in an LTP Math Pod?
All of our Math Pods are designed to greatly strengthen each student’s fundamental understanding of their math course. Since math is a subject that builds on the previous year’s learning, by striving for mastery, our Math Pods enhance the chances for success in successive math courses.
Our son is taking Precalculus next fall. Can he enroll in the Precalculus Math Pod to get ahead for next year?
No, it’s really not a good idea. Even for precocious math students, Precalculus is challenging due to its abstract nature. It is best to enroll in the same Math Pod as your student’s current math course.
