Confidence in mathematics is built on strong foundations. We’ve developed a review class to shore up those foundations and get students on solid footing before they begin one of our small group or individual SAT sessions.
Who should take our LTP Math Foundations course?
If your student scored less than 500 on the math section of the SAT or PSAT, then this is the perfect course to get him or her to solidify the bedrock of their math skillset. Taught by LTP Founder, Vinay Bhawnani, we’ll cover subjects like cross multiplication, equations with fractions, exponents, factoring, percentages, ratios, circles, triangles, and their properties, and more.
The LTP difference
We group students based on their current competencies. As a result, students feel comfortable asking questions in class because they know that other kids in the class perform at the same level. No embarrassment. No shame. Just learning at an optimal pace in an optimal place.

FAQs
Is it too late? My daughter scored 410 on the math on the PSAT and she thinks she can’t do math.
Absolutely not. We work with students with a wide range of math competency. The one thing all of our students have in common, however, is that they ALL have improved their scores after working with LTP. Often times, the original teaching methods used in delivering these fundamental math concepts haven’t resonated with the student. We make them resonate.
I have an 8th grader who wants to jump start the SAT prep process. Is Math Foundations the right class for her?
It’s great that she is willing to start the process early, but Math Foundations is not the class for your student. She will be better served with one of our Summer Jump Start programs.
